　　【译文】With the rapid development of communication networks, the number of smartphone users in China has been increasing at an alarming rate in recent years, which has greatly changed the way (in which) many people read. Now, they often read news and articles on their smart phones instead of buying traditional newspapers and magazines. The development of numerous mobile applications(apps) has enabled people to read novels and other (forms of) literature on their phones. As a result, sales of paper books have been affected. However, according to the survey, despite the steady growth of the mobile reading market, more than half of adults still prefer paper books.

　　① 由于通信网络的快速发展，中国智能手机用户数量近年来以惊人的速度增长。
