　　第三步：利用相关的段落扩充方法将主题句扩展成段落（常见的五种段落扩充方法：例证法、列举法、因果倒推法、引证法、具体表现法）

　　D：例证法

　　We should know that he who seizes the right moment is the right man. If a farmer doesn''t sow his seeds in spring， he would be definitely unlikely to get crops in autumn. If Hellen Keller had rejected her teacher''s help,she might have been as ignorant as any other inborn blind. All these add up to a fact that a wise man never fails to grasp any chance at the right moment.

　　E：引证法

　　Opportunities are available to everyone. Just as a western saying goes,“Every dog has its day.” everybody enjoys opportunity sometime in his life. In fact,we just can''t find anyone in the world who never has his chance to succeed during his life.

　　F：因果倒推法

　　During holidays,the traffic in big cities is always particularly heavy. This is mainly because most citizens don''t have to work in these days and they ride their bicycles to the streets to do some shopping. Farmers in the country also flood into the cities by bus or by their own motorcycles. The streets are full of buses,taxicabs,minibuses and pedestrians. As a result,traffic jams often occur.

　　There are several reasons for the increase. Firstly,the open policy being carried out in the state has enabled many foreign laborers to come and work there. Secondly,the beautiful scenery of the small island has attracted many tourists and some of them have been permitted to settle there. In addition,the government may not have realized the necessity of controlling population.
