For example, showing strong interest in idols can meet/satisfy our curiosity, upgrade our spirit status and diversify our life. However, the opponents(反对者) point out that celebrity craze can have unhealthy side-effects(副作用). It’s very likely that modern people sometimes become excessively reliant on(对…过度依赖) behaviors of those to whom they follow closely at the expense of(以…为代价) their wealth and independence.
