　　看图填词是综合能力测试题，它不仅检测学生能否把所学的各项基础知识用于实践，而且也考查学生的观察能力、阅读理解能力及逻辑思维能力。

　　看图填词解题技巧如下：

　　(1 )迅速浏览全图与全文，明确本题的主要意思。只有在了解主题的前提下才能对空格有的放矢地选填恰当的词。本题考查的是学生的综合能力，因此在解题遇到困难的时候，不要仅仅盯着这一空，还要读下去。这样可以更好地理解全文，因为后面的信息往往有助于对前面细节的理解，从而有利于对主题思想的领悟。

　　(2)盯着“目标”，细看图。因本题的设项来源于图，在做题时切不可忽略图中的信息点。看图时不仅要看整体，还要看细节，在细节方面要掌握图中的人物的身份、态度表情和意图。由于本题是以图的形式讲述一个故事，在“读”这个故事时，还要注意到故事发生的时间、地点及天气。值得一提的是表示时间的名词如星期、月份、季节等，描写天气的有关形容词，描写人的喜怒哀乐 (happy, sad, laugh, cry) 和描写人的外表( tall, short, fat, thin, y oun g old)及人的动作等词。这些词和图中的故事是息息相关的。在考查地点名词时，图中一定会给予暗示，例如：99年的浙江中考题中就出现“鱼市”的提示来考“market”一词。当确定所要填的词意时，要盯住用法和写法，要考虑到时态、语态、词性及惯用法等，填入句中的词必须完整正确。

　　(3)先易后难，多方位考虑。由于有图帮助你理解，个别空格填不出，也可以先做下面的题。做完较容易的题目之后，再集中精力思考那些难题。有的难题可能只知其意而不会写，这时要从多方位考虑。英语中一意多词表达法比较多，只要考生能根据词意填入正确的词即可。因此在明确空格词意后，可以把表达此意的有关的词在脑海中罗列出来，找出最好的和最有把握的词填进去，这样难度就大大地降低了。

　　(4)复读图文，复查核定。复查文与图是否一致，所填的句子意思是否正确，结构是否完整，上下文是否连贯，语法上是否正确，及拼写是否对。对有不清楚的地方一定要仔细考虑，尽力做到准确无误。

　　实例分析：

　　看图写话：根据图示填上正确的词，每空只填一词。

　　1.Xiao Ming and Xiao Fang are students of No.1 Middle School .Last Friday, 1 school, they went home 2 happily.

　　2.Suddenly, they saw a wallet(钱包) 3 on the road. Xiao Fang picked up.

　　3. They thought they should give it 4 to the owner(失主) of the wallet. And they 5 there till it was dark.

　　4.The owner didn’t come, 6 they had to hand it in to a policeman.

　　5. The 7 morning, the headmaster and the owner came to Xiao Fang and Xiao Ming’s classroom.

　　[评析]：本题属于看图填词题。考生首先应认真看图，把握每个图的细节内容，然后将图、文对比参照进行分析、比较，就可准确推断出所应填写的单词词义，接着依据语法确定所填词的正确词形。从图1可以看到小明和小芳肩并肩背着书包，面带笑容地走出学校，可以判定放学后他们很高兴地一同回家。根据这一信息可在第一和第二空填上after和together。从图2可以看到路上有一钱包，小芳正俯下身去把它捡起。从句子结构分析，钱包后应有一个后置定语，所以第三空格应填lying。图3呈现一个画面，小明和小芳并肩站着，小芳手里还捧着钱包，他们在静静地等人。此时远处的太阳已隐到山后。根据图示情景及句子结构，可以确定第四空格应填入back。而第五空格在填入动词stay时应考虑前、后文的时态呼应，所以必须填stayed。图4显示小明和小芳一起将钱包交给警察。在第六空格填入so，这是从前、后句子的逻辑关系来判定的。图5中小明和小芳正在上课，这时校长和失主走进教室。根据逻辑推理这是第二天发生的事情，所以可在第七空格填上next。图6显示校长在念感谢信，结合文字部分的意思，可在第八、九、十空格上依次填入what, other, learn。在十个空格内都填上适当的词后，再对照各图，将完成的短文重新认真审读一遍，看短文内容是否连贯通顺，所填词形是否语法正确。本题正确答案为：after, together, lying, back, stayed, so, next, what, other, learn。
