该公司具有独特的生产技术和雄厚的技术实力,先进的生产流水线、现代化的车间和设备,为公司赢得了竞争优势。美黛尔作为一种奢侈品,针对的是高消费群体,对于消费者来说,是一种身份地位的象征。即便如此,美黛尔的公司文化还是没有被普通大众所了解,只是在上层社会,或者是在某个消费层被了解。随着香水产业的蓬勃发展,许多著名的国际服装品牌涉足香水业,以及各大化妆品公司相继推出各种香水产品,美黛尔公司的领先地位已受到威胁。
我国加入WTO以后,对于奢侈品的进出口限制有所放宽,美黛尔进入我国国内市场的关税限制降低了,同时由于我国的经济正在飞速发展,人民生活水平也在不断的提高,人们对生活的品质有了更高的追求,在这样的环境之下,香水作为一种高品位的化妆品,它的市场需求增长强劲,有极其广阔的潜在市场。与此带来的问题是,中国女性对香水的要求与西方女性相比有很大的差异,地区之间的差异也很大,社会经济发展状况的差异也导致了消费水平和消费方式的差异,对于美黛尔公司来说,要想能够立足于中国市场,还需要经过很多的努力。

(1)SWOT分析是一种综合考虑企业内部条件和外部环境的各种因素,进行系统评价,从而选择最佳经营战略的方法。这里,S是指企业内部的优势,W是指企业内部的劣势,O是指企业外部环境的机会,T是指企业外部环境的威胁。

Here, S refers to company’s internal strengths, W refers to company’s internal weaknesses, O refers to opportunities in company’s external environment, T refers to threats in company’s external environment.
(2)Strengths (S): Beauty Adele is a well-known brand with over 80 years history, the company establishes good brand image with superior and elegant quality and becomes one of the top ten luxury fashion brands in the world. This company has unique production techniques and strong technical capability, advanced production line, modern facilities and equipments. Beauty Adele as a luxury, it is a status symbol for upscale customers.
(3)Weaknesses (W): Business culture of Beauty Adele is not understood by general mass but only in upper class or a specific customer area.
(4)Opportunities (O): After China jointed WTO, the export and import restrictions for luxuries are eased, tariff restriction which paid when Beauty Adele enters China’s market decreased. Our country’s economy is booming, people’s living standards is improving, so people have higher pursuit for quality of life, under this environment, perfume as a kind of high grand cosmetics, its market demand growth is strong and has vast potential market.
(5)Threats (T): With the vigorous development of the perfume industry, many famous internal clothing brands set foot in perfume industry, and major cosmetics companies successively introduce all kinds of perfume products, the leading role of Beauty Adele has been threatened. There is a big difference for the perfume requirement between Chinese women and western women, the difference between regions is big also, the difference in the social and economic development leads to consumptions levels and way’s difference, for Beauty Adele, it need to go through a lot of efforts then could get majority market shares.
